Issue Position

I am committed to ensuring legislation that I support fits within the framework of the Constitution. The Constitution and founding documents are timeless, and remain just as important today as when they were first written. When I came to Washington to be sworn in as a Member of Congress, I took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution, and I hold that oath as sacred. The principles the Constitution lays out enshrine the importance of individual liberties and small government. I am proud to support these principles that our Founding Fathers fought so hard for.
